ABOUT US.
Community Compassion Network (CCN) is a 501c3 non-profit Christian organization made up of volunteers from a wide variety of churches, businesses, organizations, and student groups. All are welcome. Our goal is to fight hunger by providing supplemental food to Isabella County families in need with dignity and equity.
How your dollar is stretched.
Just as you try to save your family money when grocery shopping, Community Compassion Network stretches every one of our donations as far as we can. In 2015, Community Compassion Network bought 370,705 lbs. of food for $29,174.31. According to the USDA, 1.2 lbs. is one meal. That means that Community Compassion Network gave out over 308,000 meals at an average cost of less than $0.09 per meal!
The need in our community.
